Enve SES 5.6 – Disc

$2,590.00$3,350.00

We primarily build with Sapim spokes and nipples made in Belgium.

  • The Sapim CX-Ray (~4g/spoke — $3.80) is our top end option and offers not only the best performance and ride quality but also the most durability. It has the longest fatigue life and is guaranteed to make every wheel build feel more alive and vibrant through the hands while also managing to dull unwanted road buzz. Their incredible low weight and vertical compliance may come at a price, but they have the tendency to turn otherwise good builds into seriously special ones. Excellent for virtually every application.
  • The Sapim CX-Sprint (~5.5g/spoke — $2.70) is the mid range performance spoke on offer. They still offer low weight and agreeable flex, but are a higher effective gauge and provide more substantial lateral and torsional stiffness. Very strong, fast, spokes that are an absolute joy for us to work with as builders. We can always guarantee a well balanced and predictable build with these.
  • The Sapim Race (~5.8g/spoke — $1.30) is our standard double butted option. Its 2.0mm at each end 1.8mm in the center to reduce weight and improve ride quality. They’re light, strong, and are an excellent choice for just about every application from carbon road wheels to heavy-duty commuters.
DT Swiss and Pillar spokes are available upon request.
Top quality 7075 Alloy Nipples are available upon request in a variety of colors.

SUGAR STORIES

These Sugar wheels rolled through Northern Oman

Amy and James Thomas have been on a whirlwind of adventures with their Sugar wheels.

Kimberlee Stafford

“I love my Sugar wheels. The day I got them, I got a PR on Rocky Butte, and have been consistently faster ever since. What a difference an awesome set of wheels makes!”

Sorella Forte

Team Sorella Forte is on a mission to encourage women to lead healthy, productive lives through recreational and competitive cycling

Amy Thomas

“I love to explore the less-travelled routes. I have my little gravel obsessions. I will spend an entire season devoted to exploring one area: Gifford Pinchot, Central Oregon, or my latest fascination: the Fifteenmile Creek area around Dufur.”

Sepie Moinipanah

“The thing I love about cycling is the ability to experience your surroundings from a different perspective. You can cover more ground than on foot and slow enough to appreciate the nature around you.”

Jodi Gee

“Cycling has brought me through some pretty hard times including 3 major surgeries, and a continuing battle with thyroid cancer. My recovery is going so well that I’ll be able to run again soon. But the bike will always be my favorite, now!”

Shimran George

“There’s something spiritual about riding a bike and being able to think critically about how you can tackle challenges. Emotions are magnified tenfold. It’s a great time for reflection — and as humans I feel like being able to reflect and gain clarity are essential. Why not do it while pedaling for hours?”
